Giuseppe (Joe) Cirillo

Giuseppe (Joe) Cirillo was born in 1953 in the humble town of Scandale, nestled in the heart of southern Italy. From the very beginning, the Lord had a plan for his life—one that would be woven with faith, family, and service.

In 1960, at just seven years old, Giuseppe’s family made a courageous decision to immigrate to Canada in search of greater opportunities and a brighter future. Though he was unaware at the time, this pivotal move would set the stage for a life devoted to God, his loved ones, and his fellow men.

As he grew, Giuseppe was blessed to find love and companionship in Maria, his devoted wife of over 50 years. Together, they built a family rooted in faith, raising five children and cherishing the joy of twelve grandchildren. Family became the foundation of Giuseppe’s life—a sacred stewardship that he nurtured with love, patience, and an unwavering commitment to gospel principles.

Giuseppe dedicated 48 years to building a successful career in marketing, relying on hard work, perseverance, and integrity to navigate the challenges of the business world. Yet, even in his professional pursuits, his faith remained at the center of all he did. He understood that success was not merely measured in worldly achievements but in the impact he had on others through kindness, honesty, and service.

His devotion to the gospel of Jesus Christ guided every aspect of his life. Alongside his beloved wife, he served faithfully in various leadership positions within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, always seeking to bless and uplift those around him. His testimony of the Savior deepened through years of service, and he found great joy in strengthening the faith of others.

Upon retiring, Giuseppe felt a renewed sense of purpose—not to rest, but to dedicate his time and talents to spreading the message of Jesus Christ. He embarked on a labor of love, creating "Gospel First," a platform designed to help seekers understand God’s plan of happiness. His mission was simple yet profound: to make the teachings of Jesus Christ clear, accessible, and life-changing for all who desired to know Him.

Giuseppe’s life is a testament to the power of faith, the blessings of family, and the joy of dedicated discipleship.
